About Us

Welcome.

The Chamber continues to grow in strength and membership. Our vision “Doing Business Bridge to Bridge” reflects our aim of growing business in the Chamber catchment area between Greenslopes (Story Bridge) and Carindale (Gateway Bridge). Other suburbs in this region include Holland Park, Mt Gravatt, Camp Hill, Carina and Mansfield.

The South East Brisbane Chamber of Commerce aims to promote and encourage local business to work together and build successful business partnerships. The SEBCC is a not-for-profit organisation. The SEBCC has an Executive Committee, Sub Committee, a Secretariat and Members.

Regular Networking Opportunities

Breakfast meetings ensure regular opportunities for business owners and representatives to meet, network and learn. We also run regular networking drinks in the early evening

Information, Education and Business Growth

The SEBCC is made up of business owners and representatives from numerous industry types and sizes in South East Brisbane. Members use the Chamber to help network, stay up to date on local issues and learn business skills from each other.

Educational opportunities are also provided through seminars, workshops and from guest speakers. Informal mentoring by experience SEBCC members is a known benefit for new members who are starting a new business.

Representing the Business Community to Government

As a group the SEBCC lobbies Local and State Government on issues affecting members. Several State and Federal parliamentarians from the South East Brisbane area are also members of the Chamber. SEBCC helps support members in taking up issues impacting their business with Government.

THE SEBCC LOGO

The South East Brisbane Chamber of Commerce logo utilises the image of honeycomb as symbolism for our aim to promote business growth for our members. Honeycomb is created by bees working together to form mutually rewarding outcomes. Team work and support for business growth is exactly what SEBCC encourages amongst our members.
