Rebecca Matthews is the Mindset coach and founder of The Mind and Body Co. Rebecca specialises in helping her clients to create lives, relationships and businesses they truly deeply love.   
 
Rebecca works predominantly with small business owners and entrepreneurs to regain balance, joy and purpose in their lives while continuing to grow and thrive in business.  
 
Rebecca joined the management committee to contribute to building a thriving business community where business owners feel connected and supported. 

Jess Jennings

Vice President || In the Middle HR

Jess Jennings is a HR Consultant and Manager from ‘In The Middle HR’. Jess loves, reading, dancing and spending time with her friends and family.  
 
Jess joined the SEBCC because I was excited by the changes and support they wanted to offer for our local business community.  

Tania Venville

Treasurer and Secretary || Nexia Brisbane 

Tania is a Senior Manager for Business Advisory at Nexia Brisbane South with over 10 years commercial accounting experience and 15 years public practice experience. 
 
Her experience ranges from family operated business, building and construction, transport and delivery companies, as well as the hospitality sector.   
 
Tania’s passion is growing small businesses and helping them achieve their individual and business goals. 

Christina Hull

Event Coordinator || Outsource Boutique

Christina is owner operator of the Outsource Boutique where she has been providing administration and planning support to Real Estate, Construction and Development for over 30 years.  
 
Her specialised one-to-one personal service solutions help owners to get ahead of their time consuming but important critical tasks. Christina is excellent at keeping your business moving and growing to achieve full potential.  
 
Christina’s strengths are in Executive Assistant level support and delivering corporate functions such as luncheons, award ceremonies and conferences. Her motto is ‘You don’t have to do it by yourself!”. 

Craig McCallum

Advocacy Coordinator || Property Management 

Craig is a Brissie boy and is spending his life in various Southside suburbs with his wife and 3 teenage kids. 
 
Coming from a sales background Craig started his own business in 2011. He has a passion for bringing local businesses together, supporting each other and growing the business community. As well as being a member of the SEBCC, Craig is an active member of the Rotary Club of Carindale allowing him to give back to the community. 

Melinda Koltai

Marketing Coordinator || Light Planning Media 

Melinda Koltai, alongside her fiancé Barney, runs Light Planning Media, specialising in brand photography and video strategy.  
 
Mel’s friendly and approachable nature shines through in her work. Beyond her professional skills, Mel is genuinely enthusiastic about engaging in conversations with other business owners. 
 
Melinda is passionate about using her skills to support and connect with fellow business owners. Recently, she joined the SEBCC committee, eager to contribute to its growth and to help forge a stronger business community.

Martin Mills

Martin has been in the website design, development and marketing space for over 25 years. He works with small to medium business owners to create and maintain powerful marketing platforms.  
 
Martin is dedicated to ensuring his clients have efficient online lead generation systems. Conceptual Creative is proudly Australian owned and operated and is your marketing partner in business. Conceptual Creative – defining strategy, creating presence, and innovating marketing.

Phil Searle 

Committee Member  || Accountant and Tax Agent

Phil is a proud Melbourne man who completed his tertiary education at the Queensland Institute of Technology. He has worked as a Financial Accountant predominately in commercial industries for 18 years.  
 
Phil now runs his own business selling and supporting Business Management software for small to medium enterprises (SME’s) in Brisbane for the past 26 years. 

Shane Cowan

Committee Member || Career Employment Australia

Shane is a proud born, raised and bred Brisbanite, raising his family in his own childhood home. In his early career days Shane enjoyed teaching swimming during the summer and during winter made his living as a welder. Later in his career Shane transitioned into the community sector working with a not for profit (NFP).  
 
For over 40 years he has supported people re-entering the workforce to upskill and develop hands on experience. Shane has continued his career with the NFP where he has been Manager for the past 25 years. His greatest achievement has been growing the organisation from 8 staff to now employing over 250 people who manage 10 community organisations and 2 profitable enterprises.

Amber Simpson 

Committee Member || Eureka Whittiker Macnaught 

Amber Simpson is a Certified Financial Planner with Eureka Whittaker Macnaught. Sharing the fun with her husband Stephen, she manages to keep a blended family of four teenagers out of trouble and three cats, a dog, a snake and some fish alive.  
 
Amber joined the management committee to support and promote business owners networking and engagement opportunities.
