About the South East Brisbane Chamber of Commerce

The South East Brisbane Chamber of Commerce (SEBCC) brings together businesses from Greenslopes (Story Bridge) to Carindale (Gateway Bridge); including Holland Park, Mount Gravatt, Camp Hill, Carina, Mansfield, Carindale, Tingalpa and surrounding suburbs; to connect, learn and grow.

The Chamber is guided by a volunteer Management Committee, supported by sub‑committees and a Secretariat, and driven by the energy and participation of its members. Together, we are doing “business bridge to bridge” and building a more connected, resilient and successful business community.

SEBCC exists to champion local businesses by creating opportunities to connect, collaborate and build a stronger local economy. As a not‑for‑profit organisation, we reinvest our efforts into events, advocacy and support that help members succeed, rather than into dividends or private owners.

Through our connection with Business Chamber Queensland and the broader chamber network, members benefit from both strong local relationships and wider state‑wide advocacy, resources and representation. This combination ensures South East Brisbane businesses have a powerful voice on the issues that affect them.

How Does The Chamber Help The South East Brisbane Business Community

01

How has the Chamber helped business owners in South East Brisbane?

Example, when Gabba‑area businesses were concerned about stadium redevelopment and access disruptions, SEBCC coordinated forums to keep them informed, heard, and supported throughout the process.

02

What do members say about the networking events?

Our members and their reviews tell us they feel genuinely welcomed and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere at the events. It gives them the opportunity to get know other business owners personally and professionally without the pressure of formal or structured networking.

03

How can I get to a networking event when I am so busy?

We make it easy for business owners to connect by offering events at different times of the day. If you trade later, our breakfast and morning events may suit you; if you operate mainly in the mornings, you can attend an afternoon or evening event without interrupting your workday.
