Flourishing in the 4th Industrial Revolution – a survival guide
We are now entering the fourth industrial revolution, where emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, 3d printing and nanotechnology will fundamentally alter the way we work, play and interact with each other.
What is certain, is that our futures are growingly uncertain. For example, it is predicted that around 800 million jobs will be lost to automation within the next 10 years, and most jobs that we will be performing haven’t even been invented yet.
How do we best prepare ourselves and our children to flourish in this ever-changing environment, and psychologically face the challenges that lie ahead?
This workshop explores complexity theory – the idea that the world is its best model, and that in most cases we cannot accurately predict the outcome of our actions, until we actually take them. This is true in business and in our personal lives. Neither leadership, management, marriage or raising children come with a fool-proof instruction manual.
This workshop will not only explore complexity theory, but will provide practical tools you can apply in your life both today and in the future for better dealing with messy real-world problems.
