A very thought provoking presentation this month from Stewart Fleming titled Fail Fast or Fold.  Stewart's presentation showed us how to harness the power of failure for your business, whether it be an idea, start up or established  enterprise. He discussed that failure is not necessary a bad thing as we learn more from our failures or mistakes than our successes. He discussed changing your mindset, top business tools to deal with failure and applying failure principles in your business for faster growth. The main issue with failure/mistakes is acceptance and ownership so you can learn from it and improve the process/service in the future.

The Chamber has arranged for Terri Cooper, Small Business Liaison Manager – City of Brisbane to carry out a day of small business 1 on 1’s at the Colmslie Hotel on Friday July 20.

These sessions are Free and are 40 minutes in duration.

Tell Terri about your business and she’ll let you know what Brisbane City Council may have to support you, brainstorm some ideas for your business and put you in touch with any relevant contacts she may have.
