TOPIC: Commonwealth Games

Di Farmer our local State MP will be representing the Minister for the Commonwealth games and joined by Pat Vidgen, General Manager, Strategic Engagement Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Corporation.
They will inform us of:
- what businesses could gain from the games,
- what opportunities are available and could arise for local small businesses,
- what's going on in our catchment area,
- how the games will affect our local businesses,
- the timing of the participants with training periods prior to the games commencing,
- and any general information about the games.
Please come along and feel free to prepare any questions you may have.
In honour of the Melbourne Cup, we will have a $2.00 and $5.00 sweep in lieu of our normal raffle as well as Champagne and orange juice will be provided to those who would like it, to celebrate.
