Business at Sunrise – Tuesday, 4th October 2016

Rebecca Andrews – Advancing Small Business Queensland Strategy

Rebecca Andrews will discuss the Advancing Small Business Queensland Strategy and how it will position Queensland as the place for small businesses to start, grow and employ.

The first few years in a business are often the toughest, so the Queensland Government will deliver targeted support for businesses to get a better start, survive the first four years and increase their digital capabilities.

Rebecca will discuss how this strategy will enable the government to become a champion for small business, with stronger advocacy at state and federal government levels, as well as strengthening collaboration between government and stakeholders.

About Rebecca Andrews

Rebecca leads the Office of Small Business and is responsible for developing and nurturing key relationships with key stakeholders, business and industry and ensuring effective development and delivery of policy and programs to meet government priorities.
